At the end of May, Stanislav Kuznetsov, Sberbank representative, said that his company was considering a possibility to transfer money using drones. Testing of the corresponding vehicle was scheduled at the end of June. And previous week, Lev Khasis, Sberbank vice-chairman, mentioned on his Facebook page that the first experiment was completed.
The drone delivered its cargo, overcoming 6 miles at a speed of over 110 mph. Truly speaking, in this case, the UAV conducted delivery to the cash-in-transit van where human colleagues were waiting for it. One should still test how the vehicle will function while transferring cargo from a cash desk directly to a bank customer.
