Ruselectronics develops complex able to detect drones

Ruselectronics has developed a system, detecting targets on ground, in water and air. It is even able to recognize a flying drone.

The complex consists of antennas, signal receiver and transmitter as well as data processing equipment.

The detection technology is the following: the system sends high frequency radio and TV waves, which serve as a marker for determining targets.

The complex can even detect small drones at a distance up to 10 km, people and car vehicles up to 20 km, and ships up to 80 km. Due to a combination of such a signal type, this complex can be installed even in places where traditional location systems are prohibited.

The developers hold that this solution will be quite available and can be installed at a wide range of objects, including moving ones.

Currently, Ruselectronics is discussing with the Ministry of Transportation of Russia installability of the complex in airports as well as on petroleum and nuclear objects.
