Polaroid has presented 3 camera drones

At CES 2017 exhibition, Polaroid has showcased three models of their proprietary drones equipped with cameras.

  • PL2500 has a camera that films 720p video. Maximum flight altitude is 150 m, and the declared operation time is 15 minutes.
  • PL2300 is notable for hinged fastening of the camera. It also films 720p video. Maximum flight altitude of the copter reaches 150 m, but the battery capacity lasts for only 8 minutes.
  • PL1000 can film 1080p video. Maximum flight altitude is 60 m, and the operation time is 12 minutes.

All drones can deliver images to smartphone or tablet in real time over Wi-Fi. All of them offer three flight speed levels and the return home function. Market launch is scheduled for spring-summer.
