Dubai government is going to use drones for fixing minor violations in resort areas.
Equipped with cameras, drones will fly above beaches and campsites and photograph those who throw rubbish beside trash cans. Photos will be sent to the Waste Management Department, which will punish breachers.
One quadcopter already patrols the entrusted territory. Soon clean keepers’ troop will be enlarged and nobody will be able to escape them. It is necessary to notice that in Dubai even spitting out of chewing gum is punished by a heavy fine and dumping other rubbish is punished by the sum approximately equal to 270 US dollars. In future Department officers is planning to use drones to control trucks, which leave rubbish at unauthorized landfill places.
