Within the Top Marques car show, AeroMobil has presented a new flying car model called AeroMobil 4.0 and informed about accepting preorders.
Its price will vary from $1.3 million to $1.6 million depending on package, but, curiously enough, the website still does not provide an ordering option.
AeroMobil 4.0 looks quite impressive on paper: folding wings, a screw on the back, one gasoline engine for flights, and two electric engines for land-based driving.
Driving range is around 434 miles and flight range is 466 miles. Besides, vehicle’s top ground speed is approximately 100 mph, while it can reach 224 mph in-flight. Transformation from one mode to another requires 3 minutes.
Engineers have also taken care of safety: AeroMobil 4.0 is equipped with a parachute and a great amount of airbags adjusted to both ground and air accidents.
Supplies of the flying car are scheduled for 2020.
